Hot or Not: Melissa Molinaro

Back in the classic movies day, if you had an odd or an ethnic or a "Un-American" sounding first or last name, the movie studios would encourage you to change it. Hell, if your name was Norma Jean Baker, they'd tell you that wasn't sexy enough. When you're an Ontario girl born Melissa Smith and your career isn't getting any traction, you reach into your Italian roots and move forward. Does the girl change in sexiness or was she just as hot as a Smith?

Melissa Molinaro

If you're into watching those direct-to-DVD sequels, you might have caught Molinaro in the follow-up to Jessica Alba's swansong, HONEY 2. If not, perhaps you're like me and snapped up a copy of COMMAND PERFORMANCE while it was selling hot out of the local Dollar Tree store and perhaps because you have an embarrassing love of all things Dolph Lundgren. Whichever the case, Smith wasn't working back then, so she changed it to Molinaro so she could get a small role in THE LAST STAND.

I don't remember her being a stand-out in that Dolph movie and I am still ashamed to say that HONEY 2 hasn't seen the crystal of my DVD player yet, but looking over pictures of Molinaro would argue the case that the woman is good looking enough to take a great picture at the very least.

She can sing (I don't really know, I'm just going off the information that she once was in a girl group named Goddess), she can dance (otherwise how would she have ended up in HONEY 2!?!?) and she has been cast in movies, so she's a dictionary actress at the very least. Ultimately, when you look at pics of those eyes, those legs and that ass, it's hard to find cause to not think Melissa is hot. Perhaps I set up the column this week just to give a little more exposure to a girl no longer named Smith.

What do you think of Melissa Molinaro?
